Aluminum doors are very easy to maintain due to the components used to make the doors which help to prevent rust, pitting and other types of deterioration. Also, aluminum doors look stylish without ever needing to be painted and damaged areas can be replaced in sections, meaning there is no need to replace the entire door.

Vinyl and Steel Doors

Vinyl doors are a good choice economically, but do not lack the security of wood or steel. Vinyl doors require little to no maintenance or painting but yet are still very stylish. Vinyl frames have welded corners which make them air tight and therefore very energy efficient; they also dramatically reduce noise.

By far the most popular door type, today’s steel doors are virtually maintenance free, they come in seven standard colors (custom colors are available); offer a variety of insulation and window options and look and perform well in most applications.

Amarr is the primary company that we use. They are able to supply us with a good selection of common products that meet our customers needs.

ArmRlite is based out of New Jersey, they primarily focus on premium full view doors, these typically are all glass doors.

Artisan is for our customers who are looking for a higher end door with seemingly endless designs and options.

General Doors has a basic line of products that is easily accessible. They have local manufacturing that is helpful when we are in a pinch.

We primarily use Re-Source Industries for parts, they offer a large selection of decorative hardware option. The selection they offer is much larger than any of the other manufactures that we use.

Hormann provides us with other unique products that catch our customers attention and they have a good selection of products.

LiftMaster is the company that we use for almost 100% of the openers we use and install. Most of their products incorporate remote monitoring and accessibility from your cell phone. They cover residential and commercial openers.

Wayne Dalton is a company we just occasionally. They have a wide range of product however we don’t use them as often as the other companies. There is no specific reason why.
